CIC Phase 0 Successfully Completed on Schedule!

On April 10th, the CIC membership met in Dallas to review the work product of the Phase 0 workgroups, and to launch the CIC's Development Phase. Medical Automation Systems, a CIC Core Vendor, sponsored this meeting.

The CIC members began the meeting with a review of the Scope, Requirements and Architecture workgroups' progress. All workgroups completed their Phase 0 objectives on schedule, and many members commented that they were impressed with the quality and extent of the progress these groups made during the 5-week phase 0 timeline. In the meeting's afternoon sessions, the technical teams began work on the design, development, and prototyping of the interfaces proposed in the architecture.

If you have questions or comments about the CIC's technical approach and objectives, please contact the CIC Vice President - Chief Technical Officer, Jeff Perry.
